NEWS LITERACY

While writing, sources can be the only thing between your article being trusted or not by the public. When writing about important topics, I try to use credible sources to get my facts right and prove what I write. For my article on Fake news, I interviewed Grady College Dean Charles Davis. As Dean of a journalism school, it was the best source available and was almost like getting the information "straight from the horse's mouth" so to speak. Unless I am writing an opinion piece, I try to avoid bias. The public wants to facts most of the time, not my opinion. This way, they can make their own opinions about a certain subject.
